Bridezillas & Bachelor Pad :-)

I don't watch much tv, but I do watch Bachelor Pad, I get a kick out of all the crying and drama lol.  Anyone catch the finale?  Best episode ever.  Maybe I'll run into the winner around town sometime, he's from Tampa.

Anyway, my wife still watches all the wedding related shows including Bridezillas, and I normally don't stay in the room because I don't like much of anything 'reality' or on Bravo, but she had me come in to watch a part of Bridezillas.  Anyone see the episode where the bride goes ballistic on the father in law because he took her dad home before the reception, then it culminates in an argument with the groom who takes his ring off and leaves it on the table before leaving?  lol  Great way to start your marriage.

I dont watch the Bachelor Pad, but do watch an occasional Bridezilla.  Bridezilla usually leaves me with my jaw to the ground.  Such a mess!

I LOVED the ending of Bachelor Pad - good for him! though that poor girl did get a bit of a double whammy there

i've watched the occasional Bridezillas (only a few episodes) and it is crazy! It makes all the rest of us brides look great! I cannot believe how childish and over-the-top controlling some of those brides are. They get upset over the smallest of things...

Never watched Bachelor Pad though.

lol, she's going to need counseling after that episode; her boyfriend isn't, her best friend hates her, she got nothing for wasting three months of her time.  Ouch! hahaha

TOTALLY SAW THIS EPISODE... That girl was CRAAZZZYYYYY... and he needed to leave her soooo long before that... IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!

I've only seen a couple of episodes of Bridezillas, but it is one of the most cringe worthy shows on TV.   I have to think that it is all an act or something - - do they get paid for being on the show?  Is there a monetary incentive for being horrible like that?  They are CRAZY!!!

I think I heard somewhere that they do get paid for being on there, BUT.. I think theyre showing their true colors...lol  (like how people show their true self when they drink)..lol

That's exactly what I said! Not to mention I was so embarassed for her the way she went off on Nick backstage... you know she kicked herself later for that. Anddddd I read that she got wasted at the after-party. Talk about the icing on the cake.  Maybe they will take pity on her and make her the next Bachelorette!

I heard they get the equivalent of a couple grand.  I'm sure the cameras rolling encourages them to act out, but some of those girls on there are completely crazy and often make their friends and family cry, so I don't think it's completely an act lol.

Am I the only one that felt a *little* emphasis on the little, bad for the girl in the finale. She likes a guy who doesn't want her, and she went through a hellish 3 months for nada. I'd be sad to be that close to the cash and then get nothing.

Maybe for a few minutes, but then I just remember these people knowingly sign on for a show where they know they could end up being blindfolded to make out with the person they hate most, or have a guessing game on what offensive thoughts they each think about each other, etc. lol

OH VG ~ I soooooo love the fact that you mentioned both of these shoes & episodes.

Bachelor Pad - I felt HORRIBLE for Rachel but thought the guy (can't even remember his name, that's how low key he was) could've not been a douche to her.  He took all the money - the least he could've done was be alittle nicer...jerk.

Now for Bridezillas - I've been slacking on watching this season but this is the one episode that I watched.....OMG what the **** was wrong with that chick?  I was so proud of the groom for sticking up for himself.  She is crazy!!!  Hard for me to understand that he never saw that side of her before.  Good lord she needs lots of counseling.  And she was really going to get on the public bus...are you kidding me?  People are crazy, especially when cameras are on them.
