Funny Olga Story

Hi Ladies! So I went for my 2nd dress fitting with Olga this morning. I was standing in the dress while she was working on the bustle and I started to get really hot (my dress has lots of layers and is heavy lol). Well my mom starts fanning me and they are both asking me if I need to sit down. Of course, I say no and think I'll be fine. Well I start seeing spots and hearing ringing in my ears and olga runs to grab a chair so I can sit down and not faint. Long story short, Olga got ice and put it under both arm pits and on my face to cool me off. I was super embarrased and got a lecture from Olga and my mom about how I need to eat breakfast and not worry about fitting into my dress. Lesson learned lol.

    Oh man! Im glad you're okay!

    Being healthy is always important. You've gotta make sure you're eating and drinking properly. Nerves could have been playing into that too though. Not much, but maybe a little.

    Again, glad you're okay! Aside from that, how'd the fitting go?

    It went really well!! She changed the neckline to be more sweetheart (it was very a subtle sweetheart before) and it looks great! Yea I think nerves may have been playing a small part :) I just hope this doesn't happen on the big day! I'll eat some icing before walking down the aisle to make sure my blood sugar doesn't drop haha.

    Oh gosh, glad you are okay!! Definitely don't skip the breakfast :)

    My dad is going to keep some m&ms stowed away for me for right before. I already get pretty bad bouts of low blood sugar (born hypoglycemic) so I will need my chocolate for sure with all of those nerves, haha!!

    My funny Olga story:

    She pinned cups into my dress and then proceeded to tell me step by step how to reach my hand down, grab my boobs and lift them into the cup. While she is talking I start to do what she tells me (I'm not new to the boob pull-up, not the worlds largest boobs here) and she stops me and scolds: "No! Don't rush, I tell you how it's done." I was so embarrassed and dying of laughter at the same time! She is fantastic! "Don't rush!" --Loved it!

    I'm well versed in the passing out thing.  You need something with quick sugar and then a more long lasting energy hit to combat it.  So don't just eat icing, eat cake too. :)   Or, you know, other foods. 

    As soon as I was "in" my dress someone handed me a box of craisens to much on while we waited.  It was perfect.
