Pam at the Palette

I have a super guilty conscience right now.

I initially got a price quote from a vendor for centerpieces and linens, and thought their quote for centerpieces was way too high, so I went to Pam to get a quote from her.  She was super nice-- very responsive and willing to work with me, and explained exactly what I would be getting from her.  After getting a better quote from her, I decided to do my centerpieces through her.

I go to tell my initial vendor that I'll be doing centerpieces through Pam, and they price-matched her quote for me so I could get linens, centerpieces and uplighting all done through them (one vendor, easier than working with two- they also offered to waive their service fee).  So I just had to drop a note to Pam telling her I couldn't work with her-- after she put together a contract for me and everything. :(

I know it's not personal, it's business--but this is my attempt at a "make-good" to her.  She was really wonderful to work with and get quotes from, so if anyone is looking for reasonable floral and great customer service, here's another recommendation for her!

I would feel guilty too! But she is highly recommended on this board, so I'm sure she won't be sulking about you :)

I have floral guilt too actually! I'm using Roxi Floral and she's been great. I've switched my quote up a couple of times already. But now I'm having MAJOR flower doubt and want to see if she can work anything amazing up at my current quote price. I'm using carnations, and I like them, but I really want a little more wow factor on my tables than the simple vases I had asked for. Plus, I don't know for sure how many tables I'll have, and they're all such different sizes and shapes (4 long rectangle, 4 small booths, and then assorted round tables). I know this is her job, but I feel like I'm going to be the whiny client that she biitches to her friends about!!

Haha I'm the same way! I always feel like I'm "bothering" my vendors and that they probably b!tch about me behind my back...but hey, you're putting a lot of money down for this stuff, you should get what you want, no?Smile

There's been great reviews about here and she's on my list of vendors to contact when the time comes. But it's business after all.
