Caesars Palace Photographer

So I really wanted to get Bentley & Wilson to do our photography for the whole wedding (getting ready photos, ceremony, and some after shots around the property) but my WC said they don't allow any outside photography for the ceremony and we have to use their photographer. I was thinking I could just pay an outside vendor fee and we would be fine to use B&W for the ceremony. Does anyone else have any info on paying for an outside vendor at Caesar's? Anyone else have any issues with this or do I just need to fight to get them to let me use someone else?

  • I would recommend paying the fee.  The last I heard, which was about a month and a half ago, the outside vendor fee was $250 or so.  Now, most people want a full CD of all the photos of their ceremony, and also, last I heard, Imagine charges about $450 to $600 additional for that, while B&W would include it since that's how they provide the pictures, so the outside fee plus the B&W fee would probably still save you money over base photos, plus prints, plus the $600 CD from Imagine.

  • hmmm, this is weird because I was told I could use an outside vendor and pay the $200 fee.
  • I asked about a month ago and someone told me it was anywhere from $200-$300. We just ended up sticking with the Cleopatra package that doesn't have the extra photo time and we're just going to use Todd for before and after the ceremony.
  • I am getting married at Caesars July 14th, and I was able to pay the outside vendor fee of $200 about 1.5 months ago, so I'm assuming that's still current. My coordinator is Melissa. Hope that helps :)

  • I asked the person when booking and she said 350. And she told me prices just went up because I told her I knew others that were able to for 200. I asked my WC this week bc I wanted to see if she would say 200. She said they don't allow it. In your contract it mentions something about outside photographers and the ability to use them but doesn't give a price. I am still debating on it do I haven't pushed the issue because honestly 350 dollars is a bit ridiculous. But I think given the contract u might be able to get them to let u have an outside vendor even though they said you can't. Also, I know another Harrahs property don't remember which one said they can't have any outside photographers due to their contract with Imagine. Which might be the case now at CP.

  • Thanks for all of the good advice! I think I am going to try and bargain to get an outside vendor lol. I've done the math and it's really more worth it to hire B&W to do my photography for the whole day than pay for them and then the ceremony pictures from the other company with CP.
    You might be right about them changing their policies kjd3526...my contract doesn't say anything about outside photogs and paying an outside vendor fee only on flowers and music.  I will see what I can find out from my WC! Wish me luck on this, I really really don't want to have to use the CP photogs and pay extra $ for pics....

  • My coordinator is Lindsey. I can't remember for the life of me what chapel it was that said they use imagine... Sorry. I thought it might have been PH but not sure that's right.
  • Thanks for the tips everyone! I think I am going to try and get an outside photographer, I will report back what she says! If everyone just fairly recently asked I think I might stand a chance!
