Suite Receptions :)

OK...we have finally come to an agreement that we think we would be very happy with but we are having troubles with the research part of it....
We still want to keep it under 2000, with approx 20 or so guests

Besides Vista Suite, Are there other suites that come highly recommended?? (under 500, and maybe a lil more central strip?)

Is there anyone here that has pics of their reception at any suite??

Were people ok with not having enough seats for everyone?

Just really curious on how it all works with havin a cocktail/appetizer reception in a suite and how people liked it....what were the outcomes i guess.......

...again, thanks all for any and all input!!

There are a few pics form our in-suite at the Wynn in my bio. It was a glamorous spacious suite on the 53rd floor with view of the Strip and the mountains. We were 11 and there was room for everyone, seating would definitely have been available for 20+ too. I'm not too sure you can keep it under $2K though.

Im having the same problem trying to decide what to do. Im getting married in Decembe some nice suites:

MGM terrace suite , this was our first option and I was excited but  now im worried 17 of december is too cold to have guests outisde??? What do you guys thing? We have around 30 to 40 guests and I am worried that they wont fit inside and that they wont like to be outside until 3am im the morning.

Senator at the caesar palace, it loooks nice and great prices for december.

Vista Suite and MB my fiance says is far form the strip

PH and the Planet hollywood other option that we are keeping in mind

Cosmopolitan is very nice my only concern is the prices for our guests are too expensive and I will like them to stay in the same hotel than us.

If cost is truly an issue, be sure to include the Golden Nugget in your quotes.  The spa tower suite is a great suite for a party and we got it for $309/night in August (now that was because we were already there for 2 nights and added on two nights and I asked them for a discount since they couldn't help me out on the cabana costs).

If you are insistent about being on the strip, which is fine, you will pay more.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

Had my reception on 9/10/11 at the Vista Suite and it was awesome!  We paid about $750 and had 60 or so people.  It is not off the stip, just at one end.
