Wedding Reception

I'm looking for somewhere to have a restaurant reception that isn't to expensive but is nice. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you tell us a range of what you want to spend per person?

Yes, I would like to spend about $40 per person.  I'm not sure if that is a realistic budget.  My guest list is about 40 people.  So, if possible I would like to spend about 2k.

What time is your wedding?  Lunch time receptions are going to be less expensive than dinner.  Although I think $40 pp isn't bad at all.  I know Maggiano's has a dinner reception menu at 40.95 pp.  There are also a few buffets that have private dining rooms which might be a viable option.
