Need Alternatives to Throwing Rice/ Bird Seed

Hi There Brides!

I am in need of some suggestions... Our ceremony will be outside, but our venue does not permit rice, bird seed, flower petals, or confetti to be thrown. Have you seen or done any other creative alternatives to these?

I don't know how creative these ideas are, but I've seen bubbles, sparklers, streamers tied to sticks (I'm sure theres a term for these, but I have no clue), ringing bells, paper airplanes, fragrant herbs, things like that.

I recently heard of faux rice. It's paper that disintegrates so no environmental issue, safe if and animal eats it and not slippery like rice when people walk on it. It just gets flattened.

I've been wondering about this too because I have close to a phobia about things thrown at me...even light ones due to a couple of family incidents. I like the bubbles idea.
