Has anyone heard of renting a home in NC or SC & hosting ceremony/reception there?

I heard you can rent a house, for your guests to stay at & the homes also have a place for an outdoor ceremony/reception. If so, can you provide details I have done some searches on the internet but came up empty handed.

Are you thinking of at the beach?  You can rent houses along the coast, rental companies down there can help you find ones that are large and allow weddings.

I'm doing this in Emerald Isle.  We are going thru Emerald Isle Realty.  Bluewater Realty also rents event homes in that area.  Good luck and happy hunting!

Absolutely! I just coordinated a wedding right outside of Charlotte on Lake Norman. They rented a 8,000 square foot house - it was beautiful!
