Trying to Budget... Block Hotel Room discounts?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to budget for my July 2011 wedding. I was thinking of paying for 2 nights hotel stay for my guests. Do you know what the typical block room discount is that I can expect? I am looking to reserve between 10 and 20 rooms. Since my wedding is at Caesars, I am looking to have them stay at either Flamingo or Paris. (since Ceasars is a little pricey!)

Does anyone know what I might be able to expect? Thanks!!!!

I know when you book a wedding with Caesars, you and your guests get a 10% discount at any Harrah's property. I don't know what the block prices are though.

I tried to do a block at Casears and they said they don'yt do blocks. they only give 10% off they said : ( Any Harrahs property. Paris is a Harrahs property.

Paris is a bit pricey to last I checked. You may want to look into booking through a travel agent, they may be able to get deeper discounts. I booked a group of rooms at Mandalay Bay for my wedding. They gave a 20% discount.

Yeah, try a travel agent! Also, Harrah's includes a big list of hotels ..... Harrah's, Caesars Palace, Paris, Rio, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, Imperial Palace, and Bally's. Maybe you can find rooms thru a travel agent, expedia, vegas.com, or smartervegas.com for a better deal than just the 10% off.
