Blue Man Group?

Hey everyone,

I am currently looking up shows that I'd like for H and I to see when we are in Vegas in August, and got really excited about Blue Man Group. It seems to be one of the most popular shows judging by websites that sell discounted tickets and general Vegas sites. However, when I checked on Trip Advisor, the first 3 pages are filled with terrible reviews! I don't usually listen to everything everyone says on there, but it was overwhelming how many people thought it was boring!

Do any of you have first (or even second) hand expereince watching the show and would you recommend it?

If not, which of the Cirque shows are the best, in your opinion?

Thanks!!!

Unfortunately I don't have any info on Blue Man Group, sorry!

For Cirque shows, it really just depends on what you're going for.  If you want the full-on acrobatics / stunts, you'll want to stick with O, Ka or Mystere.  I loved all three of those.  Love is a beautiful show, but doesn't have all of the crazy stunts.  I've actually seen all of the Cirque shows except the Criss Angel one.  Let me know if you have any questions!

I saw Blue Man Group in Chicago and it was soooooooooooo good.  It exceeded my expectations.  It's a different kind of show.  But it full of music, comedy, and visual tricks.  I've also seen O, Zumanity, and Mystere.  All of them were really good, too!

I also saw Blue Man group in Chicago and I really liked it as well. In Chicago it was quite a small theater and I really liked that, not sure how big the Vegas one is though.

My favorite Cirque shows were Love and Mystere. I've seen all of them except for O and Elvis. La Reve at Wynn is also a good show.

When FI and I went to Vegas for the first time, we each picked a show to see while we were there. I picked Penn and Teller, which was just ok. And he picked Blue Man Group.

I wasn't really looking forward to it, but it was PHENOMENAL. I absolutely LOVED it. I even told him I want to go see it again when we're in Vegas for the wedding!

Thanks for all your comments! Ok well that is very reassuring to hear good things about it! In the meantime I was looking up other shows and am very interested in Ka and La Reve as well! We were only going to do one big show but now I'm thinking we'll have to do at least 2!

Thank again for all the input! I can't wait for August!

Add me to the list of girls who have seen BMG in Chicago, but not in Vegas. I enjoyed their show a lot. I remember laughing a whole bunch.
I've also seen all the Cirque shows execpt beLIEve. So if you want to know about any one of them in particular, let me know.
I've also seen Bite, the topless vampire show, amused me to no end. The Rat Pack is Back, really good if you like the Rat Pack (obvs).
When we go next weekend, we're either going to see Jubilee or La Reve.

This!  I saw them in Vegas in April and it was a great show! We did one of those half price tickets things where you buy a voicher earlier in the day and redeem before the show. If people were disappointed all I can think is that they wanted ALL music? And none of the comedy or visuals? I loved it and so did the 3 people with me! After the show, the guys stick around long enough for everyone to get their picture taken with them and stamp blue ink on your ticket, always fun!
