DJ For In-Suite?

I decided to go with DJ Godzilla over the Ipod just so i didn't have to deal with anything. So was just curious if anyone had any experiences good or bad with a DJ In-suite??

There have been brides on here that had their receptions "shut down" early by security due to noise, I've only heard of issues with that at MB though.  Others have had a DJ and had no problems. Might depend on the location of the suite, if you are by guest rooms or far from them and whether or not the hotel wants to be difficult about it.

Yea, i called Caesars and they said as long as we keep it at a respectful level then everything should be fine, but they have no problems with letting you have a DJ. so i'll just hope for the best!

I only recall one bride having her reception "shut down" early cause of noise and when I spoke with Calvin (DJ Godzilla) he said that was the first and only time that had happened to him.  We are using him for our in-suite at Mandalay Bay and I think as long as you have him keep the music at a respectful level you shouldn't have any problems, we aren't wanting it to feel like a night club in there just have him provide some background music.

There's definitely been several noise issues with MB, I believe only one has been asked to vacate the room though.

Do any of you have DJ GODZILLA'S web page? I have heard ALOT of brides talking about him and wanted to look into him. Do you know if he is reasonable? Thank you.

I was the bride that got shut down.

Our noise levels were not any different than what other receptions have been, and Calvin told me he'd had NO problems up until then.

I've been in touch with Calvin since the wedding and he has told several of his clients about our MB experience (not to mention his - the staff were VERY rude to him), and he's actually gotten several of his brides to rebook reception locations.
