Finally Decided!!! Caesar's Palace - Venus Garden 6/11/11

Hi Ladies,

Well I finally made a decision the venue and I'm PSYCHED!!! Hopefully it won't be too hot at 6:30 PM.

Now I need a reception site $25-$40 pp.  Thought about suite reception, but still unsure so I need some restaurants to consider too.

I've been looking at Firefly, Yolos right now.  Like that Yolos is on the strip.

Any other thoughts????

Thanks,
Jolene

I am booking my Welcome Dinner at YOLOs - they have the cheapest set menu that I have come across so far - however after 2 emails and 2 phonecalls (where I was promised my details would be passed on to someone who would contact me back) I am yet to hear anything official.

Try Rumjungle's Rodizio menu - $45 a head but really has the wow-factor.

Also, have a look at the Taste of the Wynn special menus for places in the Wynn/Encore - they can be surprisingly low cost, especially The Society Cafe - however they want a 50% deposit upfront, which shouldn't matter too much if you are hosting.

I"m getting married at the Venus Garden too!! :)
We are getting married in April though and I just booked the Vista Suite at Mandalay Bay for our reception! I'm very excited about it. All i have to do is find a caterer. The suite was only $400!! If that's not a deal, i don't know what is. Now I'm determined to find a caterer that charges around $15 pp. That would be lovely.

Thanks ladies,  I still would like to do an insuite reception, but I'm nervous about not getting a room in time; thuw while I am looking at dinner sites as well.

I liked the Vista suite, but I'm trying to figure out who would let the caterer in since we would all be getting ready for the wedding. How do I handle that??

A lot of brides just have someone meet the caterer, a friend or family member. A good idea: don't schedule delivery during your actual ceremony, schedule it afterwards like during photos and that way the designated person doesn't miss the ceremony.   :)
