In-Suite reception Questions

To keep cost low we decided to provide water, soda, wine, beer, and champagne ourselves.  Where did you purchase your beverages?  How did you keep the beverages cold?  Did you rent party buckets or ice chest? I believe someone used the center large tub in the Panorama Suite to hold the beverages.  If you know the knotties name let me know!

If you used the Panorama Suite at PH did you use the IPod station for music? Did it work well?

We used the center tub filled with ice.  It took a lot of trips but if worked really well, just leave the drain open so the water doesnt pool.
We didn't use the Ipod dock in the panorma suite, but we used the one in the Apex suite and it worked great, it doesnt go really loud though.  But perfect for first dance and background party music.

There is a mini-fridge in the bar area of the panorama suite. We also got a small styrofoam cooler at Vons to hold a few more drinks.

We used the iPod docking station and it worked just fine. But as PP said, it doesn't get terribly loud. With the IPod sound almost all the way up and the stereo sound pretty high, it was loud enough to fill the room, but not over-powering.

We used the mini fridge and a styrofoam cooler. I had considered using the tub but didn't.
We bought our liquor from Lee's Discount Liquor. There are liquor stores all over the strip, if I recall correctly one is pretty close to the PH. However, we were looking for something specific (lambic beers) and had called them beforehand to ensure they carried a good stock. They were the only liquor store we did that carried the wide range of flavors we wanted.
I thought the iPod dock was fine.
