Beach Wedding - Want Kure Beach Beach House

Hey Everyone! We are looking to get married in Kure Beach, NC and were wondering if anyone knew of good Beach Houses for rent that were large enough to hold a wedding reception??  We want to get married on the beach but have the reception near by and this seems like the best idea... Let me know all that you can! Thanks!

Call either Carolina Beach Realty (www.carolinabeachrealty.net) or Blue Water Realty (http://www.bluewaterrealtyinc.com) and ask them. I believe I saw ads from Blue Water in local wedding magazines suggesting using a beach house as a reception location like you're asking about.

If the house rental idea doesn't work, we're also getting married in Kure Beach with a reception at the aquarium. It's a pretty cool venue and they have different options for various budgets and guest list sizes.

Intracoastal Vacation Rentals is a good company to rent from too.  I just rented a house in Carolina Beach with family, called the Legasea.  It was beautiful and had double porches that were ocean front!  http://www.intracoastalrentals.com/rental/query.html

Keep in mind a lot of the beach houses that will allow a wedding also charge between $1000-2000 nonrefundable event fee.  I got a bit of sticker shock when I ran into that.
