Hey everyone, i'm not a huge poster adound here, but i lurke alot!! I wouldn't have been able to plan my wedding without this boards, so thank you everyone!! Here are my reviews sorry its so long!!
Caesars Palace A+
Ok so it didn't start off very well, but it ended up being amazing! When we got there to check in i asked for a tour of our Suite that we had booked for the reception which was supposed to be the Roman Tower Royal Duplex Suite, and it ended up being the wrong suite, I booked i through Angela at Total experiences a year before the wedding! So i would not recomend working with them. So we ended up dealing with Zandra at the front desk, and she was so wonderful, she ended up getting us an upgrade to the Centurion Tower Royal Duplex Suite for the whole stay and it only end up being about $300 more than what we would have paid for our whole stay in a Palace tower Delux room and the suite for the night. We walked in this room and it took my breath away, it is about 1850 sq. ft. and has a staircase and balcony which over look the room., a bar, and the bathroom was unreal!! The only thing i didnt like was the furniture because it was outdated, but it really didn't even matter because the room was stunning. The decorating was very classic, not modern like some of the other suites but it was so perfect. We had the DJ upstairs and about 60 people and there was more than enough room, and there was seating for about 30. The night of the reception Caesas was great, we had all outide catering and bartending but they still had someone in there cleaning for us all night, there was also a security guard who was standing outside of the door that we made friends with and he let everyone go out the little fire escape to smoke, and he would let us know if we were getting to rowdy! I would def. recomend this suite to anyone and Caesaers Palace it was amazing.
Venus Garden A+
It was gorgeous!! I had my doubts because i never got to see it in person, but it was beyond my expectations. Our ceremony was at 7:30pm, it was all light up and just beautiful! It was also very intimate which i liked. My wedding coordinator was Debi and she was so wonderful everything went so smooth and perfect. I think the officiants name was michael and everyone commented on how awesome he was, the ceremony is very short, but he made it so special. I only ordered my bouquet from them, i made all of my bridesmaids, but it was beautiful. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but i loved the photographer, i wish i could remember him name because he was awesome, and he did alot of fun and different poses. the keyboardist was good also although i don't really remember the music, but i think i would remember if it was horrible!
Jason's Deli A+
We used them for lunch while the girls and i were getting ready, we got a tray with different sandwiches and pinwheels, fruit, cheese and crackers, coffee, tea, and iced tea. They were on time and the food was great, i ordered for 12 people, we had about 15 and there were still so many left overs!
Masterpiece Cuisine A+
Of course they were awesome, i don't think i have ever seen a bad review on them, the food was great and we also got our bartender from them and he was wonderful. Although we drank everything we brought if you have a big drinking crowd i would definitely warn them!!
Travis Allen A+
He was awesome, everyone was so surprised to see him, what can i say, he looks and sounds just like elvis!! He sang 3 songs and they stayed and took pictures with everyone. It was a great!!
Retro Bakery D
I didnt get to taste it before hand and we got the red carpet because i LOVE red velvet, but i wasn't was good as i expected it to be so i was disappointed there, and they did not even deliver it to the room, my sister had to go dwn and pick it up from them, and they put it in a box that wasn't sturdy and there ended up being a few smunges on it.
At Least that was the only thing that went wrong!
Dj Godzilla (Calvin Duncan) A++++++
I saved the best for last. I went back and forth for a long time about wether or not to get a DJ and i can honestly say that it was the best decision i made! I really cant say enough good things about him, he was AMAZING he played everyhting we asked him to he was very interactive with the crowd, and his price was amazing. We wanted to bring him home with us!! He made the whole reception so wonderful, so if you are on the fence i say go for it! We danced until about 4am when they finally came and told us that was enough!!
Over all everything was so amazing, and i am so sad it's over. I hope these reviews help those of you that are still in the planning process, enjoy it because it goes way to fast! I will post pictures of the suite and everythng once i get a chance!
