Uptown Charlotte Rehearsal Dinner?

I'm trying to find a place for our rehearsal dinner in Uptown Charlotte...any suggestions? We plan on having about 30 people and I would like to keep it under $1000 (including tax/tip).

I am having mine at Providence Cafe....I've been having problems looking around for places able to keep it under a $1000 for 30 people....many places have a $1,500 minimum for a friday night. Providence Cafe goes just by the price of their menu as long as you have at least 30 people in the room. Their food is soooooo good and very high class for their cheap prices. My food prices ranges from $14-$24....They include alot in their package as well. Includes: choice of 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts....All that came to about $900 (this I don't think is including drinks and tip though)....But still is not bad

A girlfriend of mine did her's at LaVecchia, not sure how cost was though. If you haven't eaten there, it's seafood/steaks.

Not sure if this helps because it is in downtown Concord, but we had our engagement party at The Loft at 14th and I do know they hold rehearsal dinners as well. Worth a shot to check out if you don't have any luck in your search because you wouldn't be limited to what you wanted to do.
