Steaming/Pressing Tux

What did everyone do with steaming/pressing FI's tux?

I was planning to bring it to Debi - Fit For a Bride.

    I think quite a few people recommend her on this site.

    I did a trick that I found on a traveling web site. We steamed it in the bathroom and then used the hair dryer. You have to be careful with certain fabrics and you can't get too close or hot, but it did the trick. We did all three tuxes and vests this way and they looked great. Admittedly, our tuxes weren't terribly wrinkled after having them sent via mail to our hotel.
     I will see if I can find the site, it was a web site for traveling brides that i also used for tips on packaging my dress, which I also sent via Fedex to Deb at Fit for a Bride.
    Lots of hotels also offer steaming/pressing services. Check with yours.

    Where are you getting married? We're not sending to Fit for a Bride since my dress won't be ready until a couple of days before. Mandalay recommended Creative Formalwear for last minute steaming so I think that's who we're going to use.

    I'm getting married at MB.

    I was just curious because I see a lot of girls sending their dresses to Fit for a Bride but wasn't sure if they also sent their FI's tux there.

    Debi was ok with us droppign it off 2 days before our wedding and picking it up the day after (so, the day before the wedding
    )

    If you only need it steamed, there are also travel steamers now, just pour water in and a few minutes later you've got a steamer; FI has one that works surprisingly well.  Pressing would be more difficult; hotels can do that though if you don't want it to leave the property.

    So when you pick up the tux from MW or wherever, it's not already pressed?

    When you pick it up from Men's Warehouse, it should already be pressed and steamed. FI was in a destination wedding last year and didn't have any worries...
    We used a local vendor for ours and had them delivered to Vegas, which is why we had to steam out some minor wrinkkles.
