Caesars (Juno Garden): A+ Caesars was amazing, my wedding coordinator, Melissa Thomas was so great and helpful. She put up with so many e-mails from me for a whole year leading up to the wedding. The wedding was perfect, and the ceremony only lasted 8 minutes! That is exactly what I wanted, I didn’t want anyone to get bored, or too hot (3pm in July). I also had Caesars do my flowers which were so beautiful. (Hot pink Gerber Daisies and Fuchsia Roses). Our package (Cleopatra Package) included 2 nights stay, one of the best parts was the breakfast selection door hanger, we just decided what we wanted and placed it on the door, and our wake up call was breakfast and mimosas, perfect! It was also free because I had $100 room service credit in my package. Also included was an hour of limo time (6 passenger), which I used in the morning with the girls after breakfast, to cruise the strip, I did this because in order to extend the limo time and size for our photo tour would have cost more than to get a separate (bigger) limo from another company. The Ceremony was recorded and we received the DVD in as little as 2 weeks after we got home! Melissa also gave us 2 Caesars champagne flutes and a bottle of champagne, which was the perfect touch! I’m so glad I choose Caesars for our wedding.
Color (Inside Caesars): A+ Color was great. I went there the night before to get my hair bleached (roots) and he made them yellow-ish which I don’t like, so I was a little upset about that but he was still great. The stylists the next day did an excellent job with our hair. My Bridesmaids looked amazing, the best looking bridesmaids I ever did see!! I love that they serve you champagne while you are there and the decor is exactly my style! Damask wall paper everywhere and chandeliers fill the place! I also went there last year for our engagement photos and my hair was amazing, down with curls, l couldn’t have been happier. Everyone had airbrushed make up with lashes and it’s definitely the way to go! I was supposed to go back there for photos, but we ran out of time. Great experience for all of us.
Las Vegas Nail Salon, Hair and Day Spa: A+ I found this place in the yellow pages, the only salon with an AD so I called them and went there right after we picked up our marriage licence the day before. I went with 2 of my bridesmaids. They both had French manicures which they loved and one had a pedicure while waiting for me. I got acrylic or gel nails (not sure which) with hot pink, sparkly tips! I was floored how great they looked. I hands down recommend this place. It did cost $80 but it is right on the strip just past the Wynn/Encore and it sure beat the price at Color ($150 for acrylic no hot pink). The price for the French manicures were a very reasonable, it believe it was $30ish. My nails also lasted almost a month without a chip or polish coming off. Of course they were growing out but I couldn’t let go lol.
Mindy Bean: A++ Mindy and her husband Doug photographed our wedding and they did an excellent job. I just got my photos back and I am so happy!! They look amazing. They turned out way better than I expected, and not because of them (they are amazing) I don’t really like photos of myself! I met Mindy last year when she did our engagement photos which turned out really well. They are so much fun to be around and everyone was loving them. Even my hubby who hates getting his picture taken was so amazed with how great they were. I kept hearing “The photographers were great, so much fun” They interacted with everyone and were just a blast. (And I love her accent lol).
27/7 Entertainment Limousines: A+ 4 words.. Hot. Pink. Hummer. Limo! I found this limo online as I was price shopping. I only needed it for 3 hours and the cost was only $150 inclusive of tax and tip per hour!!! I was so happy with the price and the limo, I booked it right away. I didn’t tell anyone what type of limo I was getting and the look on their faces were priceless, especially the guys. He took myself and the groom to Rumor for photos and took the wedding party to the liquor store and cruised for an hour. From there we went to the Art District for more photos and then back to Joe’s where we had our reception. The experience was great, but he still did expect a tip at the end even though it was included.
Joes: A++ Have you ever had the best experience in your life, at the most amazing restaurant, with amazing food and AMAZING staff?? I have, and it’s called Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab! Unbelievable! Our guests are STILL talking about it and it’s been over a month. The food was out of this world. Most of our guests got the steak and lobster, and of course why wouldn’t they? I even got it and I don’t eat seafood. Ralph Lazano was so great and so nice and so sweet, everyone was. We couldn’t have picked a better venue for the wedding reception and I can’t say enough good things about them. We had a $5000 minimum for the room which I was so scared we would go over but in fact we were under by about $900, so Rashad Tabeb, the wine steward, brought me a wine and champagne menu to choose bottles to take back to the hotel with me. I had no idea what I was looking at except for the Dom Perignon so I asked him to choose for me and he did a great job and was also super nice!! Our coordinator Nicole Eldridge was amazing as well, she also put up with a million e-mails from me and she was so great about it. I was a little sad I didn’t get to see her and thank her in person but she had everything ready to go for me and she just helped out so much, even when I was undecided about things. I can’t wait to go back there, I would redo the wedding just so we can experience Joe’s all over again. It was the best time of my life.
All Night Long: A++ WOW! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! I read a ton of great reviews on this company, and they were more than right. He played the BEST music, had the party going the whole time and he was a blast! Lance was having a great time, singing and dancing, I have never ever seen a better DJ at any event, we are so lucky!
Moores (Canada): C-F
So annoyed with Moores. The guys BOUGHT $700 suits a month before the wedding. The sales guy said he would call us as soon as one tie and the other suit came in, and that it would be by the weekend (3 days) well he never called. So I phoned him the next week and he told me everything was there except one tie. So I said ok, call me when it’s there and we will come pick up everything. No call... The guys finally went there because they were sure the tie should have shown up by then. To their surprise, there were NO SUITS AT ALL. They LOST our suits 4 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING! I called the store to find out what was going on and I spoke to the new manager who was flown out from BC to fix the problems with the store. He assured me that every suit would be there in 24-48 hours, which he did follow through and I do appreciate but not impressed with this poorly run business. We will never shop there again, even thought the suits looked amazing and the guys rocked it!
Harrahs: B+ We (and almost every single one of our 40 guests) stayed at Harrah’s (Other than our 2 nights at Caesars). I have to admit, it is the best price (was, I’ve noticed it has gone way up) and the best location. Our rooms were about $38/night during the week and it’s sitting pretty right across from Mirage. It was our 3rd time staying there. My husband’s parents had the worst customer service experiences multiple times and I’ve experienced the same. I am not a fan of the hotel staff. I’m pretty sure next year we will be staying somewhere new. The rooms are just average, but the Casino is great, I especially love the bar “Numb” inside where I get my frozen drinks!! The valet guy outside who hails the cabs for you recommended the limo/SUV to us when we told him we were going to the marriage licence place. It was so worth it. It was $50 for an hour and the licence office was far so definitely worth the money. It was also fun, the driver was hilarious.
Dress Steaming : N/A I fully planned on using Debbie at Fit for a Bride for the steaming. I went online and calculated how much it would cost (minus the shipping) for 4 suits, 3 bridesmaid dresses, 2 flower girl dresses, and a wedding dress. I then decided to bring my own, Canadian Tire TOBI steamer and saved myself $400. I steamed the suits the night before at the hotel where the guys were staying and then steamed all the dresses the night before in the girls room. The steamer worked perfectly and looked just as good as if I got someone else to do it. Sure it would have saved me an hour of my time but I would rather put that money towards the wedding.
Save the Dates & Invitations: B Magnet Street Weddings is where I ordered everything from. They’re a bit pricey but the overall result was fantastic. The only problem I had was the invitations that I sent to a further location arrived all smudged. As if the ink wasn’t completely dry. I realize they were mostly black, but that shouldn’t have happened. I also ordered “Save the Date” fridge magnets, they were great. I did however have HUGE issues with their website which I almost gave up after my 7th try of creating my invitation with matching items, but I really wanted these invitations so I had to do it, no matter how pissed I was getting!

I handmade in Photoshop and with paper from Michael’s our Menus, Place Cards, Table Names and Program Fans. Of course they were great! I think I did a great job because I even surprised myself! They were damask with chandeliers on hot pink, black, and white paper. The fans had pink ribbon attached in a bow.
