Out-of-Town Bridesmaid

I've been chosen to be a bridesmaid for a wedding in Seattle next summer.  Not really sure what I can do being all the way out here!

Anyway, what are some things I can do to help out the bride during her planning stages?  I was super laid back during my wedding and didn't really ask the bridesmaids for help until the week of the wedding so I'm not sure what to do myself haha.

Umm. . I was the same way and didnt ask for much help. I had girls night a lot and destressed with my MOH.

However, maybe just being there with the bride and seeing if she needs help. However, I wouldnt hound her about it. Also just make sure to get the dress on time (if she's choosing one for ya) and be a good supportive friend.

Yeah I'm not really sure what I can do all the way out here in NC.  I guess for now being her sounding board for ideas is good enough :)

My Out of town bridesmaids still helped with giving ideas for the bridal shower and also came up with the games and gifts for the bridal shower...I don't know if you are planning on going to the bridal shower but that's what mine did for my shower..

And of course like you said its a good idea to help with ideas when asked. Since your already married and went through the wedding planning process just give her any bit of planning tips that maybe beneficial...like timing of when to get things (and making sure the stick to a schedule)
