Caesar's Palace: Palace Tower vs Augustus Tower

We are trying to decide where to stay for the week of our wedding.  We are getting married at Caesar's Palace, and our wedding coordinator recommended the Palace Tower because of its proximity to the Juno Garden.  However, we won't be going straight from the hotel room to the ceremony site, as we are having pictures beforehand...so I don't know that this matters.

According to our WC, the Palace Tower rooms and the Augustus Tower rooms would be the same price for us.  The decor is simlar, and all rooms in both towers have recently been remodeled.  The main differences seem to be that the Palace Tower has a view of the pools and the Augustus Tower has a view of the strip.  Other than that, it is simply their location within the hotel.  Augustus is closer to the lobby.

Does anyone have any thoughts on which tower to choose?  I feel so stupid that I can't seem to pick a tower, and I know this is like the least important thing to worry about...but it is still bugging me!  I appreciate whatever advice anyone has :)

I don't know anything about the rooms so I can't help you there, but I personally would take a strip view over a pool view.

I've stayed in augustus in a new room, had the most comfortable mattress I've ever encountered in a hotel; I tore all the sheets off when I was checking out and bought the retail version of the same mattress when I got home (it was a Serta mattress but a hotel-specific model name so I called Serta and they gave me the retail equivalent lol).  Never stayed in the palace tower but figured I'd mention you cant go wrong with Augustus.

    I prefer strip view too.

Well if the decor and price are the same, you probably can't go wrong either way.
For our wedding we stayed in a Palace Tower room and I will have to ditto VG - the bed was super comfy!  I think we were on the 12th floor and the view of the pools was great, but not absolutely necessary. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby, but nothing horrible.  If we were to stay at Caesars again, I would try an Augustus Tower room just to see the difference.

I've stayed in both. I preferred the Augustus tower, but they were both nice. :)

We've also stayed at both, and they're both great. For our wedding weekend, we upgraded to a suite in the Palace Towers, and we loved the room. We had views of the strip (Mirage, Venetian). It was perfect as far as convenience for the ceremony (Venus Garden) and reception (the ballrooms were located in the Palace Towers). Since that doesn't apply to you, Augustus is closer to the valet if you're going to do a strip tour for your pics.

Not all Augustus Tower rooms are strip view. Only the front side rooms are and they overlook the Bellagio fountains. The back side overlooks the pool. We were in that tower for our wedding and ours overlooked the pool. You can request a room with a view of the fountains but there is no guarantee. BUT, I found the rooms to be lovely. We were actually in an end room and had just a bit more room that ones in the middle.  I haven't stayed in the Palace Tower rooms yet (will be in April). I dont think u can go worng with either.

Thanks for the response guys.  I think we'll go ahead and request to stay at the Augustus Tower.  I was leaning towards that because of the location anyways - and it really sounds like we can't go wrong regardless.

@vegasgroom and ebonyivory  -  cant wait to try the comfy beds!
