The Wequassett

Has anyone been to a wedding ot been married at The Wequassett?  It's our venue for next summer :)  So far they've been amazing, and my father even talked them down to a price they didn't even offer, so they seem really flexible. 

Just looking for some insight!!!

    I didn't get married at Wequassett, but we had our breakfast there the day after the wedding and it was perfect.  It was about 100 people and everything was wonderfult.  The buffet was delicious and the view is amazing - we used the garden terrace (I think that is where they have cocktail hour for weddings).  Our guest couldn't stop talking about how nice it was.  We worked with Kalson and he was great too.

    We are getting married there next June! I can't wait! I fell in love with the place when we went to see it!

    SullivanDuval you're getting married the day after me at Wequassett...we're the Friday night wedding there!! Everything has been wonderful so far...I've requested several changes and they have been really flexible and easy-going about things...I'm so excited :)  I'll probably see you around there next summer!

    My husband and I were married there Sept 2009.   The ceremony was on the croque lawn and the reception was in the private dinning room- we had 45 guests.  It was more perfect than I could have imagined!  We stayed there the night before and night of, everything was taken care of and then some.  I did not receive one complaint from our guests and many had said that it was the classiest wedding they had ever been to.  I would not have changed one thing about my wedding day- and I am super picky!  We worked with Kelson and really I could not have imagined a better day.  Best wishes for a wonderful wedding day!

    Be sure to have reception early as you cant see any views of the bay/ water once the sun goes down.

    I got married there in Sept 2009 as well.  Everything was fantastic and we couldn't have wished for a better venue.  The Wequassett takes care of so much for you and their service is great.  It ended up raining on our wedding day and they made sure that everything was taken care and that we all had a great time.  The food was also amazing!

    I am now looking at this venue for a September 2014 wedding.  How was your experience?  Wad the price reasonable.  Thank you in advance for your insights!
