Alterations HELP!!! Need someone with good recommendations

Hello lovely brides and brides-to-be. After searching in NC and not finding a dress I liked, I went to Kleinfeld's in Manhattan while visiting my brother. Found the dress of my dreams!!!! Unfortunately I am not getting it altered at Kleinfeld's because I just can't take 3 trips up north within a month while wrapping up wedding plans. Does anyone have recommendations for a great alterations person in NC preferrably the Greensboro area or the Durham area (I live in between). Thanks in advance!!

Olga is a board favorite.  She's very skilled and has a full plate, so it's best to call her and get on her calendar as soon as possible.  She was in Cary but I think she just moved to Raleigh.    (you can google for her phone number)

I think Beth had her dress altered in the Greensboro area, so she may have a good rec for that area.

I used Elizabeth's Alterations in Greensboro.  I had used her before for regular clothes and a bridesmaid dress and knew she also did a lot of wedding dresses.  She has actually opened a wedding dress boutique next to her alterations place.  She did a wonderful job, although her prices were about double what it seems like people pay Olga for, but I feel I made upr for the difference by skipping several 3 hour round trip drives. 

She also got the dress done very quickly.  I took it in for the first time at the end of August (for a 10/23 wedding), went for the next fitting 2 weeks later, and a week later the dress was done. So a 3 week turnaround time.  If you want particulars on prices and what I had done, PM me and I'll be happy to share.

I just made an appointment with Elizabeth's after Beth's recommendation! I thought very seriously about going to Olga after hearing so many great things about her but I know its difficult to get in there and, like Beth said, that's a lot of driving for me!
