Nantucket?

A friend of mine is considering getting married in Nantucket. Since I love wedding planning and found the Knot so helpful, I told her I'd do some research for her.  Is this where I post about information for vendors in Nantucket?

We're getting married on Martha's Vineyard and are bringing  photographers from NY. They said they love it out there and go all the time, so I'm sure they'd go to nantucket, too!  http://www.scottkretschmann.com

Hi Deborah! Yes this is where you can find info on Nantucket. We have a summer home on the island and there are so many great venues from The Galley Beach, the Casino in Sconset, the White Elephant, the Atheneum, the Whaling Museum.... for flowers the popular company is Flowers on Chestnut, tent rentals is Sperry tents since a lot of the other venues on the island are small and if you are having a ton of people it makes sense to have a tent   I'm trying to think of what else. For hair on the wedding day Tresses is really wonderful. For photographers, try Heather Parker Photography. this was a link on her blog we had bookmarked.

We are just staring to plan our Nantucket wedding (summer 2012) and would love any information about venues, tents...etc. that anyone may have available.

Initially, we are trying to get some average costs for some of the venues but because it is their off season it has been hard to get a hold of anyone.  

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
