Places to stay in Provincetown

Can anyone reccommend a place to rent or hotel to stay at during the first week of October?  We would like to be as close to commerical street as possible.  (From Sunday to Saturday).  Just two of us and we are willing to spend up to 1500 for the week.  (Someplace nice!)

    seacret garden inn is a nice Inn right behind Commercial Street.  The Provincetown Inn is a great spot too, and more of a hotel than an Inn.

    My FI and I had great success using weneedavacation.com. We got a cottage for our wedding weekend steps from the beach in Brewster for less than any of the area motels.

    If you go to the website and enter your search criteria, quite a few properties show up. Since you're dealing directly with the owner, (in most cases,) you can get a better deal on rentals than I've seen through real estate sites.
