Hi all --

lynneuncc3, I saw that you are getting married at CYCC this summer on the wedding update. I am also having my reception there in June 2012!

I was wondering if you (or others) have any tips or advice. For example, where are you having your guests stay? I was thinking the Four Points Sheration in Eastham.

Hi! i cant wait! its beautiful there! the wedding party is staying at the Southfleet Inn on RT 6 in Wellfleet because it is soooo close and they are letting us rent for only 2 nights! We have reserved 12 out of the 24 rooms. The lady told us that is the max she would let us do... But we are renting a bus that will pick up people here as well and bring them to CYCC so no one has to drive.
Since the reception has to be over by 10 we have called The Pearl, which is a bar/resturant down teh street and we are going to take the bus there to continue the celebration....
For food you can only choose from a list of places, we are going with Chef Joe from Capecod Clambakes... he is AWESOME! and will do whatever you need him to do. We are doing a buffet style meal of build your own burger and grilled chicken with all the usual sides of a cookout because my fiance doesnt like seafood. But Reven says he does a great clambake! He is VERY affordable as well. Macs Seafood wanted more than double what Chef Joe is doing for us...
For photography we are using Amanda from Shoreshotz1 Photography! SHE IS SUPER! She does a lot of weddings at the cape and she is also reasonably priced. Plus she is just super awesome to work with!
We havent chosen the DJ but we might go with someone closer to Boston/Central MA because it is a little cheaper. I also think we are going to go with Stop and Shop for flowers because we are only doing hydrengas in a silver bucket for part of the center peice and i hear they are very reasonably priced as well, you just have to put everything together yourself...
For a "cake" we are using Cupcake Charlies in Mashpee and they are YUMMY! we love them. THey will deliver for an extra fee as well....

Do either of you have contact information for Cape Cod Clambakes/Chef Joe that you could send my way? I recently got engaged and want to get married on the Cape and the "build your own burger" sounds like exactly what we want to do for our wedding!!
