Falmouth brides beware of Bellezza Hair Salon

I do not have time to post the whole story, but please contact me before booking this hair salon.  I went for 2 hair trials and both hair dresses quit and neither time did anyone call me to let me know.  Luckily the first time I called and was able to re-book, but with no warning I showed up the day of my wedding and sure enough the new hair stylist quit.  I was placed with a new women and hoped for the best... within one hour of leaving the salon, my hair had large pieces that were completely straight and half still curled.   I called the salon and they were nice enough to say they would run over a curling iron... well when the front desk delivered the package it was a straightening iron with combs.  When I called the salon again they said I could use that to curl my hair - perhaps a good straightening iron, but this was more like a brush and wide.  Anyways, they finally sent over a stylist with a mini-curling iron.  My hair ended up looking ok, but absolutely nothing like I had intended.  I had mini spiral curls and originally wanted large waves.  The whole experience took out of my picture time and made me late for my ceremony.  In addition to my hair not one of my bridesmaids left happy (in fact, one of the stylist didn't even work there - they just brought her in for the day).    On top of terrible hair the AC was broke in the middle of July and the stylist told us it had been for 3 weeks (plenty of time to fix or buy fans!).  The last piece was make-up - another waste of 2 trials.  When the women attempted to do my make-up she admitted she was neither a make-up artist nor could she find any of the colors I had requested (brown eyeliner - not a crazy request).  And for all of this headache I was given my money back for the trials and my make-up (seeings as they couldn't do it and I ended up doing it myself... I'd say that was the obvious).  However, they would not refund my hair and were quite condescending in their apology.  Anyways, I hope I can spare just one bride from this terrible experience.  Headliners is just across the street for less money - please don't get caught up in the pretty salon of Bellezza like I did because unfortunately that is all it is.   If you have more questions please e-mail me at Jenna4d@gmail.com

I'm very sorry to hear of this experience you had. I would be extremely frustrated as well. I had almost booked my hair and makeup with them too because I had gotten my hair cut a couple of times there before, but I had one of those gut feelings I would of been unhappy with the experience overall and they're very overpriced. Glad I went with my instincts. Be sure to continue getting the word out so that other brides don't have to go what you went through!

Thank you for this!  I tried to book them and initially they said that they would have plenty of girls to do all of my bridal parties hair/makeup, but when I called back they said the complete opposite and left me with very few options. Luckily, I was able to book another company. So sorry that you had to go through with this on your special day.

Thanks for your support girls.  I truly just don't want anyone to go through what I did.  My hair turned out alright and I didn't let it ruin my day, but looking back at the pics of my hair I just wish it ended differently.  Now I'm just making it a point to warn as many future brides as possible so they don't end up in the same situation.
