Reasonable Band on the Cape? Or DJ suggestions

Hello All,

My fiance and I would like to have a band for our wedding in Dennisport, MA but we are on somewhat of a tight budget.  We were hoping to spend $2000-$2500 max.   Does anyone have any recommendations?  And/or, if anyone has a good DJ recommendation (reasonably priced, NOT cheesey :))  That'd be great too!

    Ken is DJing my wedding in a few weeks and is very professional, reasonably priced, and accommodating. I've seen him play before and he definitely keeps the party going and has a wide variety of music. He has been great to work with!

    My fiancé and I are booking Dave Donato with modern artistry, he is really down to earth and NOT at all cheesy in his style which we really liked! He offers photographic and DJ work. ( His wife is also a DJ ). Since we are traveling from NC for the wedding the package of both services is looking better and better! His website is modernartistry.com. Good luck!

    We booked the moonlighters band and they are doing it under your budget for us..not sure if it was sort of a favor because my last band broke up on me or because my mom has been a groupie of theirs for 10 years but they really are a great band! Fun and know how to get people dancing! They are fun to watch too you can tell they love what they do..lots of character :-)
