Ridge Club - Foreclosure Auction???

Anyone hear anything about this? I'm booked for a June 2012 wedding there. Freaking out right now!

    hang in there... It is a gorgeous venue and bidders are lining up...A similar thing happened at Ballyemeade in falmouth a few years ago and now it's better than ever... 
    Wait just a bit longer before you throw in the towel on the Ridge club!  It's not going to be anything like a fire sale...

    I'm also scheduled to have my wedding at The Ridge Club at the end of July. And just went for a food tasting and they said nothing about it. I'm PANICKING! I've heard of places closing their doors and you can't get any of your deposits back.

    We were literally JUST about to put a deposit down there. Thanks for the info!

    I'm not worried that it will close (after all, it's not just a golf course, but a residential neighborhood... what are they going to do, kick out the residents?), but more worried that the prices will skyrocket or they'll impose guest minimums. The great prices and lack of guest requirement are the reasons we want to get married there! :)

    I am getting married there May 2012 ... from what I hear the auction was supposed to be held June 6th? So I guess we just wait to hear what happens... I spoke with the wedding coordinator there who told me my deposit was safe. For those of us whom have signed a contract already ... there was nothing that talked about a guest minimum! Hopefully the new owner will honor previous contracts made!!!!!

    My family lives at the ridge club. The club part was auctioned off and things are back to normal...the residential neighboorhood is diffrent and not owned by the same cpompany
