Wychmere Harbor Club

Hi my name is Kelly and my FI and I are really interested in Wychmere. I am nervous however that the rooms are too narrow, especially the Harbor Room.Has anyone been to a wedding there? or have that same thought?

    Wychmere is gorgeous... but the minimums were way to expensive for our day and we fell in love with Ocean's Edge

    I never had an issue with the rooms-I thought it was really nice.

    I haven't been to a wedding there but we looked at Wychmere when we were checking out locations.

    I completely see your point about the narrow rooms.  We wound up using Willowbend and were more than happy with it.

    I just got married in August at Wychmere and I cannot say enough good things about it.  I cannot imagine having a better experience anywhere else.  My wedding day was absolutely fabulous, there was not one thing that even went slightly wrong and the entire staff did everything to make sure each and every detail was perfect. Karen is the most amazing person, she is literally your best friend by the end of the planning process, she leaves no detail to chance.  The room being "narrow" was not an issue - the only time it was a little difficult was doing the seating chart and who was going to be near the dance floor, but honestly everything else FAR out weights that issue.  If you need any other info or would like to see photos just let me know.  Good luck with the planning!!

    wychmere is gorgeous, I just visited two weeks ago, very pretty outdoor ceremony spot, and they are renovating so it would be great! Everything comes at a high cost tho... 30,000 minimums to use at their vendors, and 8000 dollar sites fees, plus something they only told us at the end of our visit was the 20% admin fee and 7% tax... a quarter of your wedding budget just for admin and tax! if you are lucky enough to have that money, the wychmere is perfect, they have handmade sushi stations, and dim sum stations and taco bars for the cocktail hour, but as we know everything costs dough.
