We are getting married on Martha's Vineyard and don't want our guest to have to worry about brining their cars over on the ferry. We have hired a local sightseeing company to transport our guests from the ceremony to the reception site which is only 1 mile away. Our ceremony starts at 2 and cocktails aren't scheduled to begin until 4 (the earliest we can get into the site). We were thinking about having the sightseeing company take our guests on a short 45 minute guided tour of Oak Bluffs and Edgartown after picking them up at the church in order to buy us a little time and perhaps give them a glimpse of the island. What do you think? Will our guests appreciate this or be annoyed by the delay?
