Photobooth DIY

Ladies ... sorry for the double-post (I also put this in DIY) ... but I remember someone on here looking for photobooth rentals. 

I want a photobooth.  badly.  Like, WICKED badly.  Calling around and doing research, getting one on the Cape is cost prohibitive. 

Looking online to try to solve my problem of being too poor for one, I found this:

I can borrow some lights to properly light the area from a friend, and if I buy a webcam ... seems like I can set this up with my laptop for about $100. 

Anyone do this, or know someone who did?  Suggestions/comments/words of encouragement?

    I was a photobooth desperately too - my fiance and I are photo freeks and would really fit our personalities. We take pictures of everything. I asked about this recently on the cape cod board within the past couple weeks and some people made some suggestions. If you're having a photographer, maybe see if they can set up something for you with a backdrop?
