Where did you find the bamboo for the pergola?  I have no idea where to start.  I might just be building this thing myself.  Thanks!!

    we googled bamboo poles online - didn't find it in a store anywhere around here.  We did not end up buying it because it was going to be almost $100 more than renting the arch.  I don't think we ever officially determined the appropriate diameter of the poles we would need to build it, they come in a wide range of widths and it's hard to figure out what would work best without seeing them in person.

    This was what we wanted to do, not sure if that's the idea you had?

    Oh no...you were a big help.  I love that picture.  That is pretty much what I pictured in my head.  I have no clue if me or my fiance will really be able to build anything like that.  Haha.  We'll have to see. :)
