Looking for a house to rent

I am looking for a house to rent where I can hold my reception.  I'd like to have it in a large backyard.  Any suggestions on specfic houses or how to go about looking for this?

    Captain Herman Smiths House, The Pelham House is a resort but you can have backyard type on their huge lawn and guests stay on location

    There are definitely lots of options but you should be forewarned that there are a lot of rules depending on the town you're in.

    I had my heart set on this idea, and although we haven't settled on a venue I'm very discouraged by everything.  We looked at a lot over this past weekend.
