DJ- Michael Hennessey from Allegro DJ Service

We're thinking about using Michael Hennessey for our September wedding. Has anyone else used him or been to a wedding where he was the DJ? We had a great conversation with him, and just wanted to hear what other people thought.

We had used him for our August 2010 wedding. All in all, he did a good job. We asked him to play an equal mix of different genres, and we were happy that he played every genre we had asked for. There were a couple of minor errors, but some of it was due to miscommunication on our part (we forgot to send him our do not play list), but he did a good job, especially since he was thrown a big task his way at the last minute, which I definitely give him kudos for!

i recommend looking into steve binder - he was fabulous at our wedding and has only gotten glowing reviews on this board. and he's reasonably priced.

Thanks for the helpful tips about Michael Hennessey! Our date is a popular one so a lot of the DJs we've been recommended are already booked. I'll have to ask my fiance if he's checked Steve Binder's availability yet.

Oh, and if anyone has any feedback on Curtis Knight Entertainment let me know! That's another DJ service we're looking into.

Mike can be kind of booring......as far as Curtis....great dance mix!!!!
