Help writing directions! Suggestions?

For those of you who put a directions insert into your invitation, I was just curious with exactly how you worded your directions up until the point of the Bourne Bridge. For people coming from Boston, do you send them to the Bourne Bridge or to the Sagamore Bridge? At the moment I have from Boston and from Providence to the Bourne Bridge, but I don't know if it's necessary to add from elsewhere, or if my directions are even that good... any pointers or tips, or even actual directions you have would be most helpful!

Thanks in advance!

I have the people from Boston going over the Sagamore Bridge, since they will be coming down Route 3.  I have the people coming from Providence going over the Bourne Bridge.  My ceremony is at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, so this is what I did for directions.  I stole some of it from the venue website.  Hope it helps!

From Boston:  Take I-93 South to Rt. 3 South.  Follow to the Sagamore Bridge.  Cross the Sagamore Bridge to continue on Rt. 6 East.  Follow Rt. 6 East to Exit 2.  Follow directions from Exit 2 below. From Providence:  Follow I-195 East to Exit 22A.  Take the exit onto Rt. 25 South and continue over the Bourne Bridge.  At the rotary, take the third exit onto Rt. 6/6A toward Sagamore.  Follow to the set of lights and turn right onto Rt. 6 East.  Follow Rt. 6 East to Exit 2.  Follow directions from Exit 2 below. From Exit 2:  Follow Rt. 130 North for approximately 1½ miles.  At the triangle intersection, bear left and take an immediate sharp left at the Old Town Hall onto Grove Street.  Follow Grove Street for ¼ mile.  The entrance will be on your left.

I'm pretty much going to do whatever google maps tells me, but I will drive them first to make sure it makes sense. Most of our guests will be coming from Boston (flying in or live there) or NYC area, so I'm going to do from 95 for all points South, and from Boston. Not sure on the bridges question though.

What part of the cape are you getting married in? It makes a huge difference!

The ceremony in Falmouth, reception in Bourne. I'm planning to take them over the Bourne Bridge. Really what I just want to know what people are doing in regards of point of reference, are you planning directions from the north? west?  i have points from Boston and Providence,  but I don't know if I that is too specific and if I need to do instead from points north, west, etc. instead since with say Providence you go on I-195 whereas other points West might be much different. I know that directions do depend on whether you're going either upper, mid, or lower Cape, but I'm looking more for how people are wording directions approaching either bridge.

    Thanks!

I think that that is a great idea to send them from Boston and Providence. Those are going to be the two major starting points, or guest will travel through those points to get to the cape. You may want to just map quest from Boston and Providence and copy those directions. Now a days many  people have GPS, but I still think it is nice to include for those who don't.  I am geting married in Falmouth too!!!

Okay, I wasn't so sure since I know from other points west you can just go from 495.  I just don't know how many options I should be posting in my invitation directions insert but if it makes sense to do from just Boston and Providence, makes life a lot easier for me...

I didn't include from 495...even though I suppose it would be helpful.  I looked at my guest list and figured that 100% of them had been to the Cape and figured I'd be wasting my breath telling them how to get to the bridges!
