officiants

Does anyone know of any in or around Sandwich?  How much do they usually charge?

I don't know if you already know this but in the state of MA, anyone can be ordained for the day.  It's $25 and a quick application process.  My brother-in-law's aunt is marrying us and she lives in CO.

But to answer your question, they're usually around $100-$200, depending on what you need, and where they travel.  A quick google will turn up a few lists.

Lucien Poyant...soo nice and he will email you lots of sample wordings for ceremonies  or help you customize. He is out of Hyannis. He came highly recommended by my wedding coordinator and so far my dealings with him have been superb..gets right back to you etc. I think he will come up if you google him..

My fiance and I are getting married by Rev. Lavender.  Here is her website: http://www.capecodceremonies.com/. My future sister in law and her husband were married by her and we really enjoyed their ceremony.  We actually met with her a couple weekends ago, so that she could get to know us.  We had to write about our relationship, what is important to us in life, religion, etc., as well as answer a lot of questions, so that she could create the perfect ceremony for us.  No two ceremonies are the same!  Anyway, hope this helps!

Try Gary Chiljean, he's a JP and also a sea captain.  He lives in Bridgewater but he traveled to Brewster for us.  We used him and loved  him!
