Affordable florist around Asheville

My budget is very tight and everywhere I look the prices for flowers are way out of my budget. I'm so new to this...anyone know a place or alternatives to a florist? Help!

    Have you tried grocery stores?  Some will create the arrangements and whatnot just like a florst.  Or you could DIY some or all of your arrangements using grocery store flowers or flowers from sites like fiftyflowers.com or sams club or costco.

    My sister used "Enchanted Florist" (or something similar to that).  Her prices so far have been about half the price of my florist quotes here in Charlotte.
