I Need Help with Venues!

Hello!  

I am trying to plan a wedding in Charlotte this coming March.  My biggest hurdle is that I live in Alaska - and I have absolutely no clue for venues for both the ceremony and the reception!  It is going to be a small wedding with 30-50 people, and I am trying to keep the budget on the low end.  I was hoping for any ideas on small chapels or any other indoor venue for the ceremony, and possibly a restaurant that does large parties with a limited menu or buffet.  Thank you in advance for any ideas you might be able to give!

    I just saw the recent messages about venues, and they were a great help!  Any additional information about reception sites would be awesome as well!  Thanks!

    depending on your budget, you could try Bentley's (downtown), Sullivan's, Maggiano's (they have private rooms), Harper's, Duke Mansion (may work with you to just use the dining room only), Pewter Rose.

    I agree about Duke Mansion, it is just BEAUTIFUL!!

    Other than that, I'm no help with Charlotte venues. Have you looked at the "local venues" section of the knot? That could help to give you some ideas.

    Do you have family that live in or close to Charlotte that might be able to scout out some possible venue options for you? If not, you might want to think about hiring a wedding coordinator to be your go between and do lots of the leg work for you.
