I am currently looking into hiring a wedding coordinator and decorator.  Has anyone else done this yet?

    i do not plan to hire one because 1- i think it's a waste of money and 2- my best friend is acting as DOC. i did it for her wedding and as a returned favor, she's doing mine.
    IMO, you can save the money by asking someone to help you out (as a friend, family member etc)- HOWEVER, thats IF you are trying/wanting to cut costs. but if you can afford it, ive heard good things.

    I have a Day-Of Coordinator hired, only witht he purpose of making sure people are where they need to be. The money I spent is worth the peace of mind I'll have that day.

    The FI and I are doing the planning and we'll be hiring a DOC.  We're pricing them out right now.
