So long story short:
I spent the night at my one bridesmaid's house and could not sleep...stayed up till past 1am steaming all the gowns and then at 3am when I nearly fell asleep a huge storm came through. I started bawling my eyes out and calling my grandmother across the street. She assured me it would all work out. I ended up with 20 minutes of sleep.
The day seemed to last forever at the hair salon and then sped up really quick. I only had one minor melt down when I found out they forgot to make chicken! It was resolved before the reception and we had chicken lol.
We didn't get all the photo time I had hoped prior to the ceremony due to people being lost, blowing up the phones, and me having to guide people to fix what I disliked about the ceremony site. My videographer was nearly late but my MOH took the call on that one so I didn't snap and my mother was having another bad day so she did not ride with my grandmother and Uncle and her boyfriend got her there moments before I was supposed to load into the carriage.
As the carriage started it's walk it started drizzling...I prayed. Apparently at that exact moment my Pastor made a prayer for the rain to hold out. It sprinkled on my girls for a brief moment and then stopped. (It downpoured about 10 minutes after the ceremony, just long enough to get photos with the carriage.)
All in all things were great, the only thing I would change is making sure photo time did not get crunched as the ONE photo we never got was of us with his parents (they were the photographers) and it just slipped everyones minds.
