EDIT I just read another post on a different board and saw exactly what I wanted!
I was planning to have my centrepieces finished by the florist but over the weekend my aunt gave me a bunch of flowers as a sample. She is providing the flowers for me. I used an old vase, cut them and stuck a bunch in but I actually like how they look. The centrepieces will be the cream roses, white hydrangea and a small glass vase surrounded by several tealights in frosted glass holders, on white/ivory table cloths.
I would take more time with them to make sure they are cut evenly, but is the overall look ok taking into consideration the changes? As well, the actual vase would be nicer. Maybe more hydrangeas, less roses?
