February 2012 Weddings

inexpensive accessories

I dunno about the rest of you ladies, but February is a cold month. I was looking at average daily temps in Vegas (where we are getting married) and it is 35 for the high. :( In my quest to find something to keep me warm, my stepmother reminded me about Coldwater Creek's outlet online.

I found scarves earlier this week that will work as long wraps for me and my daughter (they are reversible) for $10 each and then I bought a clutch today for $9.

Just thought I'd pass it along since I know someone else here might be looking for something similar.

  • A friend who was married in April shared www.retailmenot.com with me...it lets you search coupon codes from any website you could dream of! I used it to get deals on my BM gifts :)
  • I'm in Houston so the weather is iffy here..the high right now is around 60-70 degrees.  So I may be ok! I can only imagine what yall women go through up North!

  • I'm In Fl so I don't have that issue. But I have been to Vegas several times in feb and its hit or miss. One time it was chilly but not really cold. One time it rained for 2 days strait and was hot. Of course I hear it rarely rains there so it was a fluke! But the weather out there is pretty dry so it's not that bad unless it's snowy but just watch the weather channel I'm sure it will be ok

  • I'm in SC and we have been experiencning unusually warm weather-- about mid 60's high 70's. We are hoping it will hold out, as our ceremony is being held outdoors. I do have a faux fur wrap from David's Bridal-- although it was expensive and I would not reccommend getting one from them. You can do so much better on Amazon, Ebay, etc.
