So my fiance and I have set our date for June 25 of next year. We would like to get married in/around the Lowell area. We are expecting around 50-100 people, and we want to keep things on the cheap. We are thinking an outdoor wedding(with a plan B), and then somewhere inside for the reception. It HAS to be affordable. Ideas? Please????

    Have you looked at Grand Volute?  I'm not sure how cheap they are but they are in Lowell.  How many guests are you having?  I know the Thornapple in Ada also does weddings and if you don't have a lot of people it could be affordable.

    I would recommend Fallasburg park (I think it's in Lowell) for your ceremony, and then the Grand Volute for the reception.  HTH!

    Another vote for the Grand Volute.  Actually, if you do call them, ask if they will have the gardens set up by next year.  (I think I remember the original design was set up with a garden ceremony location that looked like it would be beautiful.)  I've been to an event there and they were absolutely perfect and one of their staff actually stepped in and cordinated my wedding in DC when my DOC quit a few days before the event.
