Hello!We just got engaged (10/3) and just booked our wedding and reception venue. We are getting married August 21, 2010 at the Lawton Community Center. It is an old winery and located 10 minutes from Kalamazoo.Now that I have my venue set, I have no idea what I am suppose to do next??Does anyone have any recommendations for photographers, DJs, florists, transporation in the Kalamazoo area?Thanks so much!katie

    Hi Katie --I looked at a couple of photographers from the Kzoo area - there names are:Valerie Ott & Katie Krueger ... they are both pretty good and have websites and blogs ..

    Yeah, I love the Lawton Community Center!!!  If we were closer I would have booked it in a heart beat!We are using Jim Mckinney with Wiser productions for our DJ - he has been djing for years, MC'd for the K-Wings and is an overall great guy! There are some fabulous florists in the area. I really like the florist at the radisson - they flowers are incredible! Look at the Kalamazoo Bridal Associations website for some great ideas!
