Need Reception Hall Advise...PLEASE HELP

I recently got engaged and am looking at a late March/early April wedding. I can have my wedding/reception anywhere between Kalamazoo/Jackson/Ann Arbor. I need a reception hall/venue on a serious BUDGET! Anyone have any suggestions? Id prefer to be able to provide my own food. Thank you soooo much!

    First of all - congrats and welcome! :)

    Without knowing any more information, here's what my fi and I are planning...

    The Bedford Area Lions Club (North-westish side of BC). The rent time is for 2 1/2 days and you provide your own food, alcohol, etc. for $700 (deposit incl) and the capacity is ~150 (but don't quote me on that). There's no website so if you want to contact them, let me know and I'll PM you a name and number for them.

    We looked into a local VFW hall untill my MIL offered to help us pay for a ton of stuff. It was only like $400 maybe $500.
