Pinnacle Center....Any thoughts or comments??

My future father-in-law suggested our venue be The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville but when I asked my sister about it, she said that's where she had prom & it wasn't all that. We're getting married next May and we don't want anything over the top but I was hoping to have the ceremony outdoors in their garden & would like the colors and landscaping to be.....lucious I guess :) We both love the outdoors. I haven't been able to check it out for myself yet and wondered if anyone had gotten married there or may have any thoughts about the venue in general? Possibly even pics maybe?

My friend got married there a couple of years ago, and she was really pleased.  When she originally booked them they didn't have a liquor license so she had planned to bring in an outside bartender, but they got their liquor license while she was planning the wedding, so they ended up matching the price the outside bartender was going to give her.  I don't know aobut their normal liquor prices or their food prices now, but she said hers were pretty reasonable.  If I didn't need to be able to bring in an outside caterer, I would have looked into them.

I'm getting married there this September...I've been very happy with them so far, great meal choices and a perfect outdoor ceremony setting in the garden. They have a  lot to offer..I hope I'm not disappointed!

I've been to conferences there for work and while the pinnacle center is very nice it is RIGHT next to the highway but if you're cool with that I'd say go for it!

They have a minimum of $5000 for food, bar and decor that you have to meet. We were going to have ours there until we started having to think of unneccesary things to have for our wedding just to meet the minimum. It was very pretty there though and the garden would be the perfect setting for the ceremony. Also a friend of mine said she attended a wedding there and she said the food was terrible. That is just hear say though because I haven't tried it myself. Obviously you will want to do a food tasting before deciding that you want to have your wedding there. Hopefully it works out for you because it is a nice place.
