Good vs Bad

I saw a similar post on the chit chat board a while ago. Let's start one!

Good:  I got the email today for the 8 month mark till our wedding. FI looks at me last night and says, "You are really excited." Yes I can't wait for next July and ready for all this work to come together. Ready to celebrate!!

Bad: I am super tired today and don't feel like doing anything. I hope I am not getting sick. My nose is peeling, gross. I also can't stand the part time job I picked up to help out with income. Ugh. I need to look for another part time job that I'll actually enjoy.

    Good : I am now a model attendent for the builder that built our home, so woo for extra income on the weekends! (anyone searching for a new home??) Today is also my last day of work for this week and tomorrow we leave for VA to spend thanksgiving with FI family

    Bad : FI and I had a meeting with a potential vendor last night. All was well until said vendor started poking jokes at me and wouldnt stop (a few are fine. . but he continued on until it was annoying) Plus. . he was giving us a price cut because we got a lower price from someone else. . he then started to make it out that he was doing us a favor (yes, he was. . but you should still be professional about it) and was basically acting like he could really care less if we booked him or not.

    Good : We finally have a table in our house soo Im all about hosting a GTG!!! :)

    Ncsu- that's totally unprofessional of the vendor! Have you guys definitely decided on him or is this a dealbeaker? And congrats on the new job!

    Good: Thanksgiving Prep is done and it is almost vacation! Also I found out Bed Bath and Beyond makes snuggies for dogs. Christmas present for Izzy? Check!

    Bad: FI is on call tonight and since for some reason I fell asleep at 8:30pm last night I feel like I haven't seen him since Sunday, and won't see him until tomorrow night. I'm totally whining about it to anyone who'll listen- we had 16 weeks without call nights and I'm out of practice! :(

    Good: DH just called to say he finished his test and feels good about it.  We're popping the champagne tonight!

    Bad: We can't seem to agree on anything about the house decor wise or how chores should be completed since he moved in.

    Good: My pups have gotten to spend all day out of the kennel this week.  They are super spoiled now.

    Good: Less than 3 hours until I can leave for the day, so I'm happy about that.  Also I scheduled our tasting for January with our venue and I'm about to book a massage (FI got a gift certificate from a client and he doesn't want to use it).

    Bad: Work is painstakingly slow. I've been doing some HM research and I feel like I'll never decide on a place that has everything we want. FI may get roped into babysitting his cousins when they come tailgate with us because they've "never tailgated" before. 

    Good: Hopefully this post will make the day go by faster!

    Oh redhead!  Thank God you said that about the chores and decor!  I have been feeling the same way about that and we can't seem to get it together.  The house looks like a disaster and we're having people over next weekend, which I know is plenty of time, but the mess COMPLETELY stresses me out.

    Good: Only one day of work left until we head down to the lake house for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to eat yummy food and be with family.

    Bad: I have to work by myself tomorrow, and I hate working alone.

    Good: DH should be home in 30 minutes, which means cuddle time! lol

    Really Good: My manager just called and said that since I've already gotten all of the files built for an upcoming audit, that I can work from home tomorrow! YAY! And this means that I'll be able to do my laundry that is WAY overdue, double yay!

    Good:  In 57 minutes I get to leave my office, stop off at my favorite place (Target) for a little mini shopping spree, and have the night at home, alone with the FI.

    Bad:  My mom's FI is having heart surgery tomorrow and My Dad is having major knee surgery tomorrow.  I can't be in both places at once, so Im being forced to pick who's hospital room to be in as 1 is in Raleigh and 1 in Greenville.

    Good:  I already stocked the bar at home over the weekend, so I am set to relax tomorrow night post drama filled day!!

    Good: all the kids I needed to pull from class were where they were supposed to be today! This is amazing!
    Bad: just having to travel so much in the next month and a halfish. I'm glad for the time off, but I wish FI and I didn't have family all up and down the east coast to see.

    Bad: I don't have enough vacation time left after the honeymoon to take tomorrow off.

    Im totally going again :)

    CJ: It was a deal breaker. . we're sticking with All The Right Grooves :) It was my gut instinct to go with them, but FI wanted to make absolute sure that we were settled with our decision.

    Good : FI is making burgers and Im probably overly excited about my new part time job (I get business cards. . it makes me giggle)

    Bad : I've got killer headaches that keep coming back and neck pains from a riding accident about two weeks ago. . I need to get a check up, but I really hate going

    Good : Weather is supposed to be pretty in VA this week so it'll be great for hiking and pictures!
