Need advice on outdoor reception!

We are going to have an outdoor backyard wedding reception on August 28th.  Does anyone have any advice for me?  I just want to know if anyone has undertook such an event and came out sane?  I have about 200 guests- a big yard- permission to use neighbors yard if necessary- next door church allowing to use parking lot.  We are looking into tents and porta potties currently.  So any ideas-advice-maybe even pics of what you did would be extremely helpful!  Thanks!

    When you get the tent, don't forget about extra flaps for the sides.  I believe we had two but ended up not needing them.  My dad did cover up one side before the cermony though so I could come out through that and no one would see me before I walked down the "aisle".  We left the cake inside until we were ready for it to avoid melting and bugs getting on it.  Don't forget to have the yard sprayed as well the day before so your guests aren't getting eaten up by mosquitoes.  I can't think of much more.  We ended up having a gorgeous September day and the day went wonderfully.  The nice part about doing an outdoor wedding is that there isn't a lot of decorating that needs to be done.  We just had our centerpieces and we put up white strands of lights in our tent.  Good luck with everything!
