This Candlelight Ivory and Champagne Silk Satin Amsale bridal ball gown (style A280) was purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship store in Manhattan. The sleeveless, floor length, wedding dress with classic lines, v-neck, appropriate shoulder straps and a sophisticated two-toned color way has never been worn and comes with the original tags attached. This dress was also never altered in anyway what-so-ever so it can easily be fit by a seamstress or tailor to your exact measurements (alterations are entirely the buyer's responsibility).
The bodice is Candlelight Ivory silk satin with pearl buttons running down the back covering a hidden zipper. The skirt is fully lined, featuring flat pleating and the perfect amount of fullness (from underskirts and netting) along with a slim belt adorned with a small jeweled bow to add just a hint of sparkle are both in Champagne silk satin. There is no train on this dress. A truly one of a kind dress that would be a beautiful garment to be worn on your wedding day at any time of the year.
Up until very recently the dress was stored in a professionally packed wedding dress box (only opened to be tried on by one person). The dress only requires a good steaming, no need to be professionally cleaned. Since being out of the box, the dress has been hanging in a clean, smoke and pet free environment and is truly like brand new. The dress was originally purchased from Saks for $2,400.00.
Dress label size is an 8 but factoring in todays sizing standards it may measure closer to a size 6: 34 Bust, 35 Hip and 27 Waist. Swatches available (see picture) so you can coordinate shoes, veil and other accessories.
