I was confused for a moment this morning.  Why were those kids standing at the entrance to the neighborhood?  School is starting!

It almost feels like Fall.  This was always the start of my favorite time of year.  I love school, I really miss it. 

People have told me they've received our wedding invitations, so I guess it's really happening.  So strange.  I hope they start sending in those RSVP cards .

Happy wednesday everyone! Got some bad news this morning, looks like my matron of honor will probably not be able to make it to my wedding : / She lives in Alaska and has been my best friend forever. I haven't decided anything about my other bridesmaids because so much can change in a year, but I knew that she would be my MOH. Her sister is having a destination wedding in Mexico about 6 months before mine and my bff is flying down for that (duh, it's her sister) but she doesn't think she can afford to fly back to the east coast for my wedding So upset! I was planning on trying to save some to help her down here, but I know it wont be anywhere close to enough. That's life I suppose, too bad there really isn't a money tree out back! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Morning! I was supposed to drive from Charlotte to Greensboro this morning at 6:30 and didn't wake up until 7:30. Oops! At least it wasn't too important. 

I'm stuck doing homework until I have to go to work at 2:30. I'm having a terrible time getting used to doing homework after not having any for a couple months.

Good morning.  We are finally getting some of that rain, which makes me happy for our lawn (which needs lots of help) but gloomy in the office.

Meeting with the florist tonight to see mockups of the boquets to be sure I like what we decided on or want to make changes.  I am also taking her my centerpieces to see if hse has suggestions for making them bigger/taller.  When we went to the caterer Friday to check out the linens, we realized that our CPs will be "swallowed" by the glasses/napkins, etc., so they need to be a bit more elaborate -- not necessarily more busy, but raised, or something.  We've brainstormed some ideas, but are at the point where if she can take our vision and roll with it, we will just pay her to do it!

Sounds like everyone is pretty busy this week!

Mary - I can always tell when school is in...my commute to work goes from about 15 minutes to 25-30.  I pass 4 school entrances on my way to work...booooo

Jennie - Sorry to hear about your MOH situation =(

Allison -  I'm getting my Masters part time at night, I usually take 1 class a semester but they didn't offer anything I could take last fall so going back to my 1 class tomorrow is going to absolutely stink.  9 months without class has spoiled me!

Beth - The florist was the most difficult part of planning for me....I had the hardest time explaining what I wanted and "seeing" how it will turn out.  I don't know enough about flowers to understand what I'm actually seeing.  That's great you get a mockup.  I wish I would have had that!

Just another day around here...I've got a couple of projects to work on for the wedding.  The cardbox and the flower girl basket.  It looks like we finally have our real headcount...around 100 which was really what we were shooting for.  I've had a couple of people call this week and tell me that they actually won't make it after RSVPing.  Kind of a bummer because they are sorority sisters, most of which I never see.  Such is life.  I have to go to class tomorrow night which is a major bummer.  With a part time masters program not offering any classes I needed for spring, 9 months is a long time to be out of the loop.  But only 4 more classes left (and probably stretched out for 2 years).  I think I could have been a medical doctor by now...

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!!  We're meeting with our cake vendor tomorrow....our first one fell through....so here we go again!  I'm hoping for better luck with that this go round.  We are going to try to finish up the music list this evening....I hope!  Hope everyone has a great day!
